The real truth is bad enough, By Jerry L Sickles

The BDS [Bush Derangement Syndrome] is alive and well in the Monadnock Region.  Not a week seems to go by without some self deluded foam-er railing about how Bush did 9/11.  Make no mistake about it, the common denominator with all these people is hatred of all things Bush.  With an ever-changing narrative (remember at first it was the Jews because no Jewish folks were working that day at the WTC) these people have no answers only questions.  They have no idea what happened, they are just sure Bush did it. The latest "smoking gun" is this strange pixie dust known as nano-thermite.

I would commend to your readers a book by British author David Aaronovitch, "Voodoo Histories", he dissects the "big life events" such as Pearl Harbor, the JFK murder and 9/11. Mr. Aaronovitch, in part, talks about the psychological make-up and profile of people, who feel the need to believe in conspiracy theories. If it wasn’t so tragic it would be somewhat funny. We have today the most far-left Congress in U.S. History not one of them stands with the "truth-ers".

Like nearly all conspiracy theories, when you break it down into small pieces it doesn't hold up. Not one shred of evidence was found at ground zero of any kind of "controlled  demolition", except now tales of this "strange dust". In a 110 story building it would have taken hundreds of workers-murderers at least 6 months to attach this "strange dust" to the 47 center columns needed to hopefully bring down the Towers. That takes you back to the first days of the Bush Administration. All this massive work done on site and no one saw a thing. All this planned and done by the man scorned by the left as the "Dumbest President"ever. Hm-m seems to me you can't have it both ways.

The "truth-ers" claim that Hani Hanjour did not slam Flight 77 into the Pentagon but rather some missile. Never mind the parts of the fuselage were all over the front lawn and there is film of the event. O and were is Barbara Olsen these days? 

The "truth-ers" claim it was actors faking the calls on United 93 because cell phones wouldn't work at that altitude. As if the families wouldn't recognize the voices of their loved ones. O wait, they must be in on the conspiracy too!!

The "truth-ers" claim that United 93 didn't really crash because very little wreckage was found. This is something I know a little bit about because for a long time I lived less than 40 miles from Shanksville, PA and have been there several times. It's a trip I can recommend to your readers, there is a New Hampshire flag on the wire fence temporary memorial. The road itself seems to rise up into to heaven. At the top of the hill on the right side is a steel scrap smelting business. On the morning of Sept 11 workers- eyewitnesses- said they saw United 93 come right at them, the plane only 100 feet off the ground traveling close to 600 MPH. When Said flipped the plane over, these workers saw the faces of the passengers crying out in terror in the last seconds of their life. Don't try to tell these men they were part of some conspiracy. Yes, go there if you get the chance. It's just as it was on that awful day.

One final point, it's in fact that Mohammed Atta was in the USA in 2000 (Operation Able Danger) training at the Florida flight schools on an expired visa but couldn't be picked up. (google Jamie Gorelick- Janet Reno Wall of separation). Perhaps this is why former President Bill Clinton also has no use for the "truth-ers".

No friends, the real truth is bad enough without some inane conspiracy theory. Just as on Dec 7th 1941, America was unprepared and they got us.
